Be dwarfed by tall-tree giants and dazzled by ancient forests in bloom.
Drive, walk and wind your way through the jarrah forests of Perth's Darling Range, to where they meet the ancient karri, marri and tuart trees and beautiful beaches of the South West. Step onto the mighty Bibbulmun Track to gaze up in awe at these timber giants and cast your eyes down to be dazzled by a plethora of spring flowers.
Wildflowers generally bloom in this region between September and November, and displays are more prolific after good winter rains.
Please note;
- To help protect our pristine environment, can we request that you don’t pick wildflowers – it’s illegal and will attract fines. As beautiful as they are, it’s also important to stay out of canola fields to prevent the spread of disease. Finally, we’d like to remind you to not enter private property to access wildflowers.
