Beneath breathtaking red river gums, alongside a tranquil river within a stock route that is synonymous with Wiradjuri Songlines and Drovers, the scene is set once again for this unique event, a degustation spread over seven food stations embedded in a quintessential western landscape.
This landmark event will be held on September 21, following a Q and A with the creative director, local farmers and others in the iconic Forbes SYLO Bar & Cafe on the evening of September 20, with a main street breakfast the day after on September 22 followed by workshops in weaving and dance at the Wiradjuri Dreaming Centre.
The creative direction of OTama Carey, one of Sydney' most respected restaurateurs, ensures the menu will be a sophisticated fusion of both locally farmed produce and foraged native ingredients.
Participants will be bused to the site, welcomed to country, then free to wander along a designated corridor of the reserve, enjoying portions of delicious food with a matched beverage before being bused back to Forbes on dusk, having enjoyed a truly amazing experience....
