Welcome to Jurassic Parkville where towering life-sized animatronic dinosaurs have arrived at Melbourne Zoo for the first time. Spectacular, moving mega-beasts - including an enormous Tyrannosaurus Rex – take over the Zoo’s newly-landscaped Dino Lab, which also features baby dinosaurs and a Dino nest perfect for humans needing a nap or an photo opportunity.
There is also an Incubation Station with a breeding program in full swing, a Dino Dig where children can excavate fossils, and daily activities at the Zoo’s Dino Field Research Station. Special swipe cards give access to amazing dino facts and information about how dinosaurs are linked to some of today’s endangered species.
