From humble beginnings serving coffee from a cart in the park, Humdrum Espresso is now a buzzing hive of activity on Memorial Drive in Eumundi. Housed in a rustic old butcher’s shop, Humdrum exudes hipster charm with black and white themed décor, wooden tables, cool couches and an abundance of greenery and dried flowers. Local mums drop by to grab a coffee on the school run, while friends gather for a chat over a latte and croissant, all soaking up the relaxing vibe and eclectic display of collectibles. Humdrum serves up a wide variety of pastries, cakes and light lunch options such as roast veggie bagels, filled with cream cheese, zucchini, capsicum, mushrooms and caramelised onion, or pesto pasta with sundried tomato. Don’t forget to pick up a loaf of specialty bread like spelt rye.
